Spread the love

Your little baby is now a preschooler, congratulations. As a mother, you will probably be giddy and worried as well. There will be many instructions to follow and things to buy as well. When your child first goes to school, it’s important for him or her to have everything that the school has asked for. Otherwise, she or he may feel out of place and confused a bit. So, to make sure the first day of school for your toddler goes really well, get your child these things:

1. Small School Bag

Don’t give your child an old school bag to take to school on the first day, unless your baby really likes the old bag. You should buy a new one that is small and easy to carry. Don’t choose the bag for your child. Go to the store with your kid and ask him or her to pick the one that is best. Let your kid try it on for measure, and make sure the bag is sturdy and durable. Choose a waterproof bag if possible.

2. Name Label

The school may ask parents to bring the child with a name tag inserts Australia, or the school might provide it. In any case, it’s more convenient to have Ezi Tag Australia print some stick-on naming labels. Make sure to tell your kid what the label is for. Otherwise, it’s possible the little one will be confused.

3. Lunch Box and Water Bottle

Get a lunch box and a water bottle that your child will not mind using. Most small children are picky eaters and often feels uncomfortable eating at strange places using strange utensils. Choose these with your child, too. Do not buy small lunch boxes. It has to be spacious enough for the food and be able to withstand clumsy eating mannerisms of your child. Do not buy thermo lunch boxes meant for adults for your child. It’s also a good idea to use an Ezi Tag Australia naming label on the box and the bottle also.

4. Change of Clothes

Kids can get their clothes dirty in a matter of seconds. So, don’t send your child to school without extra clothes and underwear. Some schools specifically ask parents to send kids with a change of clothes. Wrap the items in a plastic bag like a shopping bad before placing them in the school bag.

When you buy stationary for your child, make sure they are child-safe. If your kid seems a bit concerned or scared at the prospect of school, send her or him in with a favourite toy for extra comfort.
